The RRHS Varsity Baseball team dropped a road conference game at Louisburg by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Cameron Medlin pitched a complete game, 8 strikeout effort in the loss.

The Yellow Jackets had hits from Colin Long and Aaron Jackson.

Coach Mark Snead stated, "Obviously we are not happy with the loss, but I am really proud with how our team played. I told the team that this game is like life. Sometimes you can do a lot of good things and still not have things turn out the way you want. But the sign of a young man of strong character is that you bounce back and get better because of it. I know this game will make us stronger as a team."

The loss drops the Yellow Jackets to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference. RRHS will now host Louisburg on Friday evening at 6pm.
