Jacket Wrestler Antonio Lawrence qualified for the NCHSAA 2A State Wrestling Championship

Post match comments from head coach DA White. "We wrestled well. The Jacket have had a good season. I would like to thank the parents and students body and school Administration for their support.  We were counting on three qualifying but came up short. They wrestled hard against tough competition." 

The following are the results:

113 Ethan Dixon placed top six.

128 Jacob Bouchard placed eight.

132 Aaron Purser placed top ten

160 Aaron Hunter placed top eight

170 Jermy Clemmons placed top eight

182 Nathan Dixon placed top six

192 Carter Abram placed top fourteen

285 Antonio Lawrence placed Fourth.

Coach White added, "I was proud of the way they wrestled. Coach Hall and I have watched these kids work hard every day at practice. We have them all coming back next year but two." 

Antonio Lawrence will wrestle Number one seed from the Mid West Regionals this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Greensboro Coliseum.
