The Dirt team (Disaster Immediate Response team) is hosting a 2 BBQ sandwich, slaw and chips bag fundraiser is being held this Friday January 26th for Darryl and Anna Whittle of Garysburg 11AM-1:30PM at Builders First Source on East 10th Street in Roanoke Rapids.

Mr. Whittle is emplyed at Kennametal and also the President of the Halifax/Northampton Midget Football League while Mrs. Whittle is employed at Roanoke Rapids High School as principle Williams secretary.

Just before the Thanksgiving holiday Darryl & Anna Whittle were hit head on by a drunk driver and are still in the recovery process and have quite some time to go causing them both to be out of work. 

Northampton/Halifax County and the City of Roanoke Rapids lets come together and be of some support to them because undoubtedly they have certainly been a support and served us in numerous ways over the years.
