With a not so good year for the East Carolina University football Pirates, Junior student Caleb Pratt, a Roanoke Rapids native and former Yellow Jacket football standout is still on top of his game as their kicker.
The walk-on Pratt is really having a tremendous year after 7 games this season.
- He currently sits in 3rd place overall in FBS for Kick-Off average (64.83 yards).
- Currently is in 1st place in the AAC (American Athletic Conference).
- Has placed 21 out of 30 KO's for touchbacks (70%).
- His last 11 KO's have been touchbacks.
- 26 out of his 30 KO's have gone at least 65 yds.
- 8 of his KO's have gone out of the back of the end zone.
Pratt is still the season record holder at ECU for total number of touchbacks in a season with 31 which he set in 2015.
Pratt has really taken the Kick-Off return game away from the opposing teams by getting the touchbacks.
