The Roanoke Rapids based U12 girls fast-pitch travel softball Lady Twisters team played in this weekends "Top Gun Pink Out Breast Cancer Awareness" Tournament.

The U12 girls played in support of #TeamMarcia, a Roanoke Rapids resident Marcia Hudson who was just diagnosed last week of Breast Cancer and ready for the fight.

The girls came from behind to win the championship and earn the tournament trophy.

The Lady Twister won the Semi final game 8-3:

Natalie Reda pitched a complete game, striking out 9 batters.

Offensively: Lexi Coley went 2-3, Janiya Odom 1-3, Skylar Wade 1-3, Emma Balmer went 1-1.

 

The Lady Twisters won the Championship game 7-5:

Janiya Odom pitched 7 inning complete game striking out 3.

Offensively: Lexi Coley went 1-4, Kylie Wade went 2-4, Janiya Odom 1-3, Mallory Salmon 1-3, Kaysie Summerlin 1-3, Natalie Reda 1-3, Rylie Wade 1-3, Skylar Wade 1-3, Emma Balmer 1-2, Ashton Knight 1-1.
