The Gaston College Prep Pride Middle school football team opened their 2017 at home Wednesday afternoon hosting Rocky Mount Prep.

GCP beat Rocky Mount Prep 50-14.

GCP offensive stats:

Alontae Garner had 2 touchdowns and one 2 point conversion.

Trelquail Hardie had 2 touchdowns and one 2 point conversion.

Jayden Whidbee had 2 touchdowns.

Amontae Parker had one touchdown.

Amarion Hardy had one 2 point conversion.

Jaylin Lashley had one 2 point conversion.

GCP defense was led by Chicar Ward, Ke'Mahjae Graham, Jamieon Garner, Amarion Hardy, Rayvon Harrison, Amontae Parker, Jaylan Burchette and Trequail Hardie.
