The Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets men's soccer team traveled to South Granville Wednesday night.

The Roanoke Rapids team fell 3-4 to South Granville.

The Roanoke Rapids goals were by Emerson Escobar, Cameron Wilson, Carson Neal  with  assists by Billy Ricks, Cameron Wilson.

Thomas Merritt had 6 saves in the goal.

Post match comments by Roanoke Rapids head coach Craig Jean,  "We played terrible. Easily our worst game of the year. I thought midway through the second half when we tied the game, that we would wake up andplay, but we went right back to sleep. We did play hard at the end. We let our emotions influence our decision making too much and it cost us. We are back on the road tomorrow night- it will give us a chance to break out of this slump we have been in since Monday. "
