The Roanoke Valley Girls Softball League U12 All-stars win a nail-biter and headed to the 2016 Little Tarheel State Championship in North Wilkesboro Sunday.

Roanoke Valley moves on to the u12 State Championship game still undefeated after a 7 inning nail biter with a 9-8 win over Shelby Saturday.

On the mound for Roanoke Valley was Ashlyn Cooke for 2 innings and then Lily Curtis finiahed by pitching the last 5 innings.

At the plate for the Valley Makayla Pair 3-3 with 3 singles and an RBI, Ashlyn Cooke 3-4 with 2 singles and a double and 4 RBIs, Lily Curtis 3-4 with 2 singles and a walk and an RBI, Alana Mitchell 1-3 with a single and a sacrifice bunt to score and RBI, Susanna Odom 2-4 2 singles and an RBI, Morgan Hudomint 2-4 with 2 singles, Logan Storey 2-4 with a single and a walk, Lauren Garner 1-4 with a single, Ella Howell 1-4 with a walk, Lexi Coley 1-1 with a single, and Brooke Ott 1-3 with a walk.

Roanoke Valley moves on undefeated to the Championship game at 10 AM Sunday morning.
