Southampton Motor Speedway (SMS) in Capron Virginia Official announcement:

The Peoples Track is wishing they could have had SMS open by the end of Spring, but financial delays have set them back, but not by much. They are continuing to chip away at preparing the track with hopes that they will be open by August to salvage whats left of the season. With that said, no open date yet.

As they continue, they are pleased to have Melissa Hilton on board at SMS. She has been a huge help in preparing them in the office and social media. Huge Southampton Welcome to Missy.

SMS wants to especially thank Dean and LeeAnn Graham at Quilt N. Friend, Lynwood Matthews, and John Matthews. Their contribution and passion has been heart felt and appreciated. Thank you so very much for all you do. Any volunteers interested in giving them a hand with painting and flipping grandstand boards, please be here at 10:00am on Saturday June 25th.

SMS is seeking our MISS Southampton Motor Speedway and MISS TEEN Southampton Motor Speedway as our Goodwill Ambassador to represent SMS. Their duties are to promote SMS and our Charities.They will be making appearances behalf of SMS, addressing various audiences at schools, fundraisers, parades, hometown events, and other marketing commitments.
