Middle school Athletic Director moving to High school

RRspin Sports has learned current William R. Davie middle school athletic director Terrance Smith will officially be the New Athletic Director at Northwest Halifax High School beginning July 1st.

Mr. Smith stated, "Thank you Mr. Barfield for the opportunity to help move Northwest in a different direction in athletics as well as to the many people who has prayed for me and my family.

Smith from Como, NC in the past 4 years has grown from assistant coach to head coach to middle school athletic director and now to the High School AD.

Smith also thanked Mr. Fenner who gave him a chance to run Davie Middle Athletics, his wife Ylonda Smith, who has stuck by him through the good and the bad, the wins and the losses, also to Mr. Basnight, Mr. Ford and Ms. Allen who has taught and is still teaching him so much about athletics in Halifax County.
