2015 East Carolina University true freshman Caleb Pratt, a Roanoke Rapids native and former Yellow Jacket football standout started his twelfth collegiate game of his career as Kicker this past Saturday and closed his walk-on season by breaking a ECU school single season record.
The ECU Pirates were at home for Senior Day as East Carolina officially completes its 2015 regular season schedule by hosting Cincinnati. ECU lost 19-16 on a game ending field goal by Cincinnati moving ECU to a 5-7 overall & 3-5 in conference play and coming up short for post-season play.
Pratt on special teams squad, kicked off 4 times for 241 yards with 3 touchbacks with an average of 60.2 yards per kick-off.
Pratt's season totals are: 60 Kick-offs for 3,694 yards with 31 touchbacks & 3 out of bounds kicks and a kick-off average of 61.6.
With his 31 season touchbacks that was over a 50% average, earned Pratt the East Carolina University single season total leading touchback kicker.
