Northwest Halifax traveled to Roanoke Rapids for the Jackets season opener Monday night.

Northwest scored first and never looked back. The Jackets came within one point in the fourth quarter with just over seven minutes remaining of the game. That would be the closest they would get.

Northwest Halifax won the match-up 42-34 and dropped Roanoke rapids to 0-1 while Northwest improves to 1-1.
