The Roanoke Rapids boys JV Yellow Jackets opened their 2015-16 season at home in "The Hive" in a nonconference game against Northwest Halifax Vikings.

The JV Jackets increased their 54-24 halftime lead to a 93-36 victory over Northwest Halifax Vikings.
