The Roanoke Rapids JV Yellow Jackets wrapped up a PERFECT 2015-16 season Thursday night.

The JV Jackets traveled to South Granville Thursday to close out their season. It was a nail-biter for the fans. The Jackets scored in the first quarter to take the lead 8-0. While the Jackets had a 16-8 lead in the second quarter, the Vikings rebounded within two minutes to cut the lead to a 16-14. The Jackets answered with a 24-14 at the half-time. The Vikings scored first in the second half cutting the lead again with a 24-20 score. The Jackets down 30-34, Corey Jenkins used great blocks from his teammates on the Kickoff Return Team to take the squib kick 75 yards for the go ahead touchdown with 37 seconds remaining winning 38-34.

Finishing their season undefeated with a 9-0 record and winning the 2A Northern Carolina JV Conference Title.
