Roanoke Valley Dance & Cheer are excited on their upcoming "5th annual Roanoke Valley Cheer Jam" scheduled for Saturday November 14th at the Roanoke Rapids High School gym in Roanoke Rapids starting at 10am.

Last year was twice as big and twice as fun as years past and they are expecting this year to be even bigger and more fun.
This event is designed to celebrate cheerleading as a sport and show off the skills that all of the cheerleaders possess. This is a chance for cheer teams to showcase their team’s talent and/or warm up for the upcoming competition season. There will be many Middle School, High School, Youth football, and All-Star Competition teams all showing off how talented and spirited their teams are!

Teams signed up so far are: RRHS Junior Varsity, RRHS Varsity, RR Youth football, RR Senior Team, VC Senior Dynasty, VC Junior Divas, VC Tiny Dolls, Darden Middle School, Halifax Academy Varsity Cheerleaders, Halifax Academy Little Vikings, Chaloner Middle School, E.W Wyatt Middle School, Panthers Steppers, Fike High School Varsity, Fike High School Junior Varsity, Musick's Cheer Thunder from Pinetops, Conway Middle School, Franklinton High School Varsity Cheerleaders, William R. Davie Middle School, Davie Junior Lady Vikings.
