The state playoff brackets are set for N.C. High School Athletic Association volleyball playoffs.

Preliminary brackets were released on Thursday morning, and have been finalized by the NCHSAA.

The first round of the volleyball state playoffs are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24. Times will vary.

The Roanoke Valley has two LOCAL teams that have advanced to the State play-offs.

2A Roanoke Rapids #22 seed will travel to #2 seed South Granville.

1A Southeast Halifax #22 seed will travel to #11 seed Pamlico County.
