The Roanoke Rapids High School Cross Country teams ran a Northern Carolina Conference Meet at Bunn on Tuesday October 13th. 

The Men's cross country team placed 4th overall in the meet. The Yellow Jackets were paced by Josh Elias, Dakota Sweet, Semaj Smith, Tommy Bradley, and McGilbra Cutchin.  Elias, Sweet, Bradley, and Cutchin all had personal best times.

The Women's cross country team placed 4th overall as well.  The Lady Jackets were paced by Katherine Clayton, Catherine Acree, Karalee Miller, Alexis Karns, and Erica Whitmire.  Miller had a personal best time.

"We had a really good day with multiple runners setting personal records.  I was really proud of how our teams worked together and had a very strong meet." said Mark Snead, RRHS Cross Country coach.

The next meet for the Yellow Jackets will be on Tuesday October 20 in Durham.  This will be the Conference Championship meet.
