GCP football opened their 2015 seaon with a 6-0 win over the Roanoke Rapids Hornets in the Halifax-Northampton Youth Football League.
Offense was no where to be seen on this night as both defenses shined.
GCP scored the games only points on a run by TreQuil Hardie just before the half.
Strong defense was the story of the night as neither team could move the ball consistently. A Parker and A Hardy led GCP with 5 tackles
each.
