The Roanoke Valley based RV Power (03) under 12 travel fast pitch softball team played a USSSA School Day Blues tournament in Goldsboro this weekend.

The RV Power team was seeded in first place going into tournament after defeating the Lady Raptors and tying the Dirt Devils during pool games.

RV Power won the first three tournament games against the Lady Raptors, Diamond Divas and Pitt County Dynamite, sending them to the Championship.

RV Power lost during the Championship game against the Dirt Devils, but got a second chance due to double elimination and ended up winning first place by defeating Dirt Devils 5-1.
