Officials called Wednesday's Roanoke Rapids vs KIPP soccer match after storm pops up.

About fifteen minutes into the first half at KIPP's field the fast storm approached.  With threats of heavy rain, lightning and thunder school officials canceled the match and plan to make it up at a later date.

Roanoke Rapids had scored two goals before the storm came. Carson Neal scored off of a PK *Penalty Kick) and Brandon Collier scored off an assist from Carson Neal.
