When you think of Halifax Academy swim team and it's school records you only have to think of one name, Ivan Carroll.

Ivan Carroll, a Senior this year at Halifax Academy started school at Halifax in the 8th grade after moving here from the Outer Banks of North Carolina (OBX). And Carroll is in his fifth year on the Vikings swim team and has spent his summer on the Roanoke Valley Swim team as well. Carroll has been accepted and will be attending East Carolina University this August. He also works as a Life Gaurd for the City of Roanoke Rapids

Carroll has just qualified for all his events for the state competition February 16th in Greensboro.

The Halifax Acadmey swim team seniors will reconized at Halifax Acadmey's basketball Senior night on Tuesday February 2nd.
