2014-15 basketball season coming to a close.
GCP Pride boys look to keep their unblemished record on the line as they faced the Vikings of William R. Davie, For one of the few times this season, the Pride had to play from behind as great Viking defense and missed shots allowed Davie to lead 11-8 after the first period.
GCP turned up the defense pressure and that spelled doom for the Vikings. GCP gave up three second period points. Only one third period point and finally six points in the fourth period in a 40-21 victory.
Leading scorers for GCP were: Tarik Adams with 14 points and Champ Baker with 8 points.
Leading scorers for William R. Davie were: Dexter Deloatch & Jesse Alston with 6 points each, Danyus Daniels with 4 points, Cadrily Squire with 3 points and J'Leon Turner with 2 points.
The Pride boys move to 14-0 on the season and 12-0 in conference play.
William R. Davie wraps up 4th place seeding in the RMSAC with a 19-13 victory over GCP.

Conway Middle girls beat Gaston Middle 43-16
Gaston Middle boys beat Conway Middle 41-35.
Enfield Middle girls beat Rocky Mount Prep. 29-25.
Rocky Mount Prep. boys beat Enfield Middle 48-33.
Chaloner Middle girls beat Weldon Middle 47-39.
Leading scorers for Chaloner were: Anna Vann with 19 points, Michelle Stewart with 15 points, Abbi Carpenter with 12 points and Bella Carroll with 2 points.
Leading scorers for Weldon were: Skylah Travis with 12 points and Kayrisma Harrison with 18 points.
Weldon Middle boys beat Chaloner Middle 44-39.
Leading scorers for Weldon were: Kajah Bonner with 14 points, Jada Ausby with 10 points and Traveous Garner with 9 points.
Leading scorers for Chaloner were: A'Jalon Brown with 14 points, Ezekiel Collum with 9 points, Rodney Robinson with 5 points, Carson Neal & Cameron Wilson with 3 points each, Eric Baird & Greg Hamlin with 2 points each and Cameron Medlin with 1 point.
Chaloner now has a 6-5 coverall and conference record.
