In day two action of Halifax Academy JV basketball Christmas tournament the Halifax Academy boy came up a little short in the consolation game against Brunswick Academy falling 38-39.

Leading scorers for Halifax Academy were: Garrett Smith with 9 points, Jarrett Smith with 9 points and Larry West with 5 points.

Halifax Academy JV girls fell in the championship game to Brunswick Academy 5-21.

Leading scorers for Halifax were:  Kate Hawkins with 3 points and Maddie Suiter with 2 points.

Leading scorers for Brunswick were:  Jamie Saunders with 11 points, Brianna Clements with 8 points and Heather Thompson with 2 points.

Sydney Smith and Emerson Poole from Halifax were named to the All-Tournament team.
