Gold Cheer winners

Two local Roanoke Valley athletes won gold at the Cheer 
Extreme X-Evolution cheer competition Sunday November 
23rd at the Dorton Arena. 

More than 1,200 athletes from all nine Cheer Extreme all 
star cheerleading locations were on hand to show their 
skills.   

Madison Elias (11) and Taylor Floyd (11) competed as 
part of a 4 person stunt group  and won first place gold 
for Youth Level 3 stunting.  

Both girls also competed in individual tumbling categories.  

Madison earned bronze for her Level 5 (the highest level 
of difficulty) tumbling pass.  
Taylor took gold in Level 3 and Level 4 short pass tumbling.       

Both girls are members of the Cheer Extreme Raleigh 
Youth X Sharkbites.  

Madison is also a member of CEA Raleigh's SJX Lions, a 
junior level 5 all star cheer team.
