Academy Basketball

Halifax Academy traveled across state line Monday night 
to battle Brunswick Academy on the basketball court.

In JV girls action Halifax Academy (0-2) lost 14-32. 
Leading scorers for Halifax were:  Sydney Smith with 6 
points, Maddie Suiter with 4 points, Kallie Barnes with 
2 points and Megan Cobb with 2 points.

In JV boys action Halifax (2-0) won 34-23.
Leading scorers for Halifax were:  Will Cooke with 10 
points, Reid Lynch & Eric Williams each with 7 points.

In varsity girls action Halifax (3-0) continued their 
winning streak beating Brunswick Academy 45-35. 

Leading scorers for Halifax were:  Kelly Williams with 30 
points, Candice Smith with 9 points and Drew Rose with 
6 points. 

In varsity boys action Halifax (0-3) lost to Brunswick 
30-56. 

The boys struggled offensively in 1st half only scoring 
6 points and came out stronger & more aggressive in 
2nd half. 

Leading scorers for Halifax were:  Garrett Morris with 
15 points, Brandon Moody with 9 points and Jackson 
Harris with 4 points.
