ACC Defensive Lineman of the week

Roanoke Rapids alumni and current red shirt freshman for the University of North Carolina (UNC) football team, Nazair Jones has been named ACC Defensive lineman of the week by the ACC.

Six tackles, 2.3 Tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pass break up in UNC's victory over Duke Thursday night. Jones then came home Friday night to walk the sideline and support his old team, the Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets win their second round game of the 2AA NCHSAA state football playoffs.
