Corey Jenkins scored 3 touchdowns on runs of 2,2, and
17 yards to lead Chaloner to a 20-14 win over GCP  in the 
Roanoke Middle School Athletic Conference Championship.
 
This was a great rematch  from last year with the Chaloner 
Jackets having better results this year. It was a hard fought 
game by both teams. 

The first half was a defensive struggle which ended with a 
score of 6 to 6. The strong defense by both teams carried 
on into the 3rd quarter with a scoreless quarter. 


The offensive fireworks finally got going in the fourth quarter. 
#7 Corey Jenkins ran for 93 yards and two touchdowns to 
give Chaloner the big win.  #7 Jenkins ended  up with 130 
rushing yards and 3 touchdowns for the game to help give 
Chaloner the 20 to 14 win. #12 Jack Carlisle ran one time 
for 27 yards and made 3 out of 4 passes for 50 yards. 


Chaloner’s defensive stars were #7 Corey Jenkins, #56 
Dillon Jenkins, and #50 Jalon Brown. They each had 10 
tackles a piece. 


Due to the great coaching at Chaloner and the hard work 
put in by all of the Chaloner Football Team, the Jackets 
went undefeated for the 2014 football season.
