“we came out early in the first quarter and 
played with a lot of enthusiasm and heart. 
Garrett Morris, Luke, Taylor and Landon are 
outstanding leader for us. We played a well 
rounded game on both sides of the ball. 
Offensive these guys behind some of our best 
blocking all year put together almost 400 yards 
on the ground and in the air. Defensively we 
continue to get better. Lawrence was a good 
hitting team, probably one of the best we've 
seen this year. I really proud of the hitting we 
done tonight and the attitude of this team. We 
are really starting to come together.”

Halifax Academy now has a 2-1 overall record 
and will host Cary Christian Friday night 
September 19th for Halifax's Homecoming and 
the game starts at 6:30 pm.
