Hornets vs Weldon open 2014 season.

The Halifax/Northampton Youth football league had to postpone Tuesday's opening

night due to the rain. The Roanoke Rapids Hornets traveled to the Weldon Chargers

to be the first teams to open their 2014 season Thursday night.

The Hornets prevailed as the winner beating Weldon 40-14.  The Hornets offense was

lead by D.J. Snyder with Grayson Hargrave, Jamari Edwards, Hunt Van Dam, Cody Dickens

and Ayden Woodallas the scorers.
