Gaston town commissioners Monday night appointed Tracy Story the head of athletics and public relations for the Dwight Hall Recreation Park, the town said in a statement.
Story, a Roanoke Rapids native, is the founder of the Community Softball League, which plays in Gaston every Sunday, Monday and Thursday night.
“We are very proud to have him as the newest member to our team,” Mayor Jason Moore said in the statement.
