Roanoke Rapids volleyball 
hosted Rocky Mount Thursday.

Roanoke Rapids JV girls made Rocky Mount take it to the 
end in three sets, but came up short falling 9-25, 25-22 
and 23-25 leaving their overall record 0-2.

Roanoke Rapids varsity girls rebounded from Wednesday's 
loss to Halifax Academy with a win over Rocky Mount High 
in 3 sets 25-22, 25-13 and 25-17 moving their overall 
record to 1-1.

Roanoke Rapids next match will be at Rocky Mount High 
Monday August 25th.
