Drifters invaded NCCAR this past Sunday.

Silver Dragon Racing (SDR) Freestyle drifting made it's third

appearance this year at NCCAR track in Garysburg this past

Sunday. The smell of burning tire rubber and smoke filled air

was all the eye could see on the 2 mile track.

Roanoke Rapids resident Emma Pope got her first chance to ride

shotgun with driver Angelo Argento running over 60 MPH drifting

sideways with tires burning. “I loved it,” Pope said. “I am ready

for the next visit,” she added.

SDR has one remaining stop at the Garysburg track, November 22nd.
