Brief showers almost wins second try.

The Roanoke Rapids 2014 Women's adult softball league's

opening night was rained out Monday and Tuesday's afternoon

brief rains almost postponed them again. With both fields a

little muddy in spots the sun helped dry them out quick enough

for the games to start on time. 

New Day Fitness beat Lowes 12-2 while Hudson Motorsports beat

Southern Corrosion 21-1.

Church league games played four games and scores not reported at this time.
