Roanoke Rapids Football coach Will Clark will lead the Girls softball program as well

Roanoke Rapids High school Athletic Director Todd Seymour announced today Coach Will Clark will coach the Roanoke Rapids girls Softball team for the 2013-14 season.

With Practice starting February 12, time was closing in with no coach in place to replace coach Carleen Goodwin who retired the beginning of this school year. Goodwin who was a PE and softball coach for 31 years turned in her score book.

Former football offensive coordinator from Scotland County, Clark just completed his first year as Roanoke Rapids High Varsity football head coach this past fall.

Coach Clark stated "I am glad to able to help and excited about the opportunity to coach the girls".
