NFL Super Bowl is weeks away, but Roanoke Rapids adult CFFL (Community Flag Football League) had their first annual Super Bowl today with #1 seed KEBS Flooring taking on #2 seed rrspin.com.

 

 

A special thanks goes out to CFFL Tracy Story, who saw a dream of adult flag football in the Roanoke Valley. After talks with Roanoke Rapids City recreation did not pan out, Story started up the league himself with help from other volunteers and commissioners to make it happen. Another thanks goes out to Brandon Clay and Chaloner Middle School athletics. Chaloner Middle athletics raised money by concession sells and a donation from the CFFL.

Fourteen weeks of Sunday games, eight games regular season for each team, play-offs for six teams and then there was two. #1 seed KEBS Flooring taking on #2 seed rrspin.com in the first annual CFFL Championship sponsored by Widow's Son Masonic Lodge #519 of Roanoke Rapids.
