Valley Cheer All-star cheer teams traveled to Concord NC this past weekend to compete in the Athletic Championship Cheer Competition and came home feeling accomplished.

Over 150 of the best teams came to compete from all over NC, SC, and Georgia. Valley Cheer took 6 teams to the competition including; the Mighty Minis, Youth 2 Superhero’s, Junior 1 Transformers, SR2 Fierce Force, Junior 3 Heat, and SR3 Triple Fab.

Overall the teams did very well with three teams placing 4th and 2 teams finishing 2nd overall. The divisions were tough with most of our teams competing against 7 other teams.

The SR2 Fierce Force also won best pyramid for all of the level 2 teams. Heather Merritt states “I’m just proud of the improvement I have seen from the last competition to this one and as a coach and a gym owner that is all I can ask for. I am so proud of each girl’s performance on Saturday”.
