Carson Smith is a Junior at Hobgood Academy. Last week, he was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He started his first chemotherapy today...on the road to recovery.

At 10am this morning, the entire school at Hobgood Academy gathered on the football field to pray for #88 Carson Smith. Mr. Whitehurst, head of school, opened with a prayer, Josiah Antill, youth minister from the First Baptist Church Scotland Neck, gave a devotion and a prayer. Lord, bless these students, the families they represent, and Hobgood Academy for standing up to pray in YOUR name for #88.

Tonight at 7pm (note time change), the Varsity Football team will take the field to play for #88. Please come support these young men! Wear purple and orange for #88! Hope to see you all there! — at Hobgood Academy.
