Halifax Academy backs up schedule for home Volleyball matches until September

Halifax Academy's Gym is in the process of getting a new makeover. Last year the Gym renovation commity worked hard raising funds for a new gym floor. The hard work is starting to be seen by school officials. The  10 x 10 squares of wood have been laid and Volleyball and basketball lines painted. Center court and letters still has to be done along with the polyurethane done before the makeover continues.

The next step is new sealant laid down on the outside floor of the wood court, a little wall painting and the newer motorized bleachers with rails installed. 

Due to the behind schedule and the home court not completed yet, the first few home volleyball games had to be switched with the other schools.  If things stay on schedule the Sept. 9th game verse Oakwood School will be the first home match on the new wood court.
