RV U15 were sent to Loser bracket in game one of District 7 All-star tournment last Wednesday by Perquimans. Because two teams droped out and the brackets were not redone before tournament play, Roanoke Valley had to work its way back through  to the championship games, by beating the remaining five teams to get another chance at Perquimans. The Championship game is Tuesday night in Hertford at 5 p.m.

RV's Game Two: Roanoke Valley vs Currituck

Nick Horvath starting pitcher 1 inning pitched. 3 batters/3 strike outs. Relief pitcher, Ryan Mizelle 4 innings. 1 strike out, 2 walks, 3 hits.

Offensive: Marcus Allen 3-4 including 3 run homer. Holton Barnes 2-4 single & double, Currituck struggled on mound walking 7 batters. RV won 17-2.

RV's Game Three:  Roanoke Valley vs Ahoskie

Cameron Rogerson starting pitcher 5 innings. 6 strike outs, 1 walk, gave up 1 hit. RP Josh Elias, 2 innings. 1 strike out, 1 walk, 0 hits.

Offensive: Nick Horvath 2-3,. team struggled with slower pitching from Ahoskie.

Ahoskie pitching walked 2 & struck out 4 batters. RV won 3-0

RV's Game Four:  Roanoke Valley vs Pocosin

Ryan Mizelle starting pitcher 3 1/3 innings 5 strike outs, 3 walks. 2 hits. RP Josh Elias 2/3 inning. 1 balk, 1 walk 2 hits.

Offensive: Nick Horvath, Cameron Rogerson 2-3. Pocosin pitchers walked 6, hit by pitch 2 batters, 1 balk and gave up 8 hits. RV won 14-6

RV's Game Five:  Roanoke Valley vs Camden

Cameron Rogerson pitched complete game 7 innings. 1 hit by pitch, 2 walks, 4 strikeouts, gave up 2 hits.

Offensive: Holton Barnes & Marcus Allen 2-4. Camden pitchers faced 31 batters. 2 hit by pitch, 3 walks, 1 strike out & giving up 6 hits. RV won 4-0

RV's Game six:  Roanoke Valley vs OBX

Logan Jackson starting pitcher 1 hit by pitch, 1 walk, 4 strike outs, 2 hits. faced 12 batters in 3 innings. RP Caleb Pratt faced 6 batters in 2 innings with 2 strike outs.

Offensive: Holton Barnes 3-4, Marcus Allen 2-4, ryan mizelle 2-3. OBX PITCHERS faced 31 batters 4 walks, No strike outs, 12 hits. RV won 10-0 in 5 innings.

RV U15's will face Perquimans again Tuesday @ 5pm to defend their 2012 title. if they win, they will play again @ 730 for championship.
