2013 Cal Ripken U10 State All-star tournament

Rain moved Roanoke Valley U10's game to this morning and Roanoke Valley lost 11-1 to Sandhills Optimist. Dropping to the losser bracket.

10-U All-Stars Game 1, 9 am: Lost to Sandhills Optimist 1-11. Pitching was Bennett Liverman (2 innings), Stacy Mumford (3 innings), Caleb Elias (1 inning)

Offensive leaders were Stacy Mumford (2/2), Bennett Liverman (1/2, double), and Caleb Elias (1/2)

Then the RV U10's rebounded and beat Winterville 5-2.

10-U All-stars Game 2, 11 am: Won against Winterville 5-2. Solid pitching from Stacy Mumford (3 innings) and Josh Miller (3 innings).

Offensive leaders were Caleb Elias (4/4, double), Landen Wollett (3/4), and Stacy Mumford (2/3, double). We play Sutton at 9am Saturday.

 RV U10 will play Supper (Wilminton-based Travel team)  at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
