Last regular season game recap

Orioles were triumphant against the hard hitting Yankees.  With time expiring, Orioles won 7-6 in the sixth inning.  Starting pitcher, Tyler Shearin had 3 strike outs, 5 walks and gave up 4 hits. Logan Jackson relieved Shearin in the top of the 4th inning on Wednesday evening.  Jackson had 2 strike outs, 2 walks and 1 base hit.  Once game resumed Thursday, Nick Horvath took the mound in the bottom of the 5th.  Horvath accumulated 5 strike outs, 1 assist, 2 walks and Zero hits.  Orioles top hitters were Nick Horvath single & double and drew 2 walks, Logan Jackson doubled, Tyler Gibson contributed 3 singles, with Mitch Morgan, Peyton Jackson & Ar’Motti Harvey all contributing singles. 

Yankees starting pitcher, Josh Elias had 2 strike outs, 4 walks, 6 hits and turned a double play in the top of the 4^th catching line drive hit hard by Jackson and threw to 3^rd base catching the runner, Tyler Gibson.  Relief pitcher, Colby Warren took over in the top of the 5^th inning having 2 strike outs, 3 walks and giving up 3 hits.  Top batters for the Yankees were Matthew Wray 1 single & double with 1 walk, Colby 1 single with 2 walks, Ryan Hockaday singled, and Bracy Irby tripled.

Orioles and Rockies finish the season tied for 1^st place both with a record of 8 wins / 2 losses.  Yankees finished the season in 2^nd place with a season ending record of 7 wins / 3 losses.

Senior action will continue with the All-stars beginning July 10^th in Hertford, NC.
