5th place out of 36 teams
Valley resedents Candice Smith and Abbi Carpenter, who play for the Greenville based travel U14 Heart Breakers Purple softball team traveled to Rock Hill SC this past weekend.
The team finished 5th out of 36 teams. Smith pitched three winning games of the six wins.
And at the plate, Smith had a total of five singles, two doubles, one triple and four RBI's. Carpenter had a total of four singles, two double and three RBI's.
