Game three wasn't good on offense for RV Power
The Roanoke Valley Power U-10 travel softball came into Sunday with a 1-1 record. RV Power had to face a team they had played before while in U-8, the Clippers. The Clippers won todays game 8-3 ending there play in the "NC USSSA Childrens Miricale Network" tournament in Winterville. The team struggled with thier bats and errors and walks contributed to their three runs.
Defense had several good plays. Lilly Curtis pitched all four innings. Karlee Hammack playing third made a play throwing to first base getting the out, then first baseman Emerson Poole threw it back to third base where Shortstop Ashton Garner was to make the tag for a double play.
Then first baseman Emerson Poole and short stop Ashton Garner picked off a steal from first in a run down. The girls finished mid pack out of eleven team in the U-10 division.
