The City of Roanoke Rapids is accepting applications for the following positions:
(Part Time) Public Works Worker (Public Works)
An employee in this position performs skilled technical and trades work in the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment. Job duties include but are limited to grass cutting, leaf collection, street sign maintenance, and other duties necessary in the Public Works Department. Must have a valid NC Driver’s license.
Police Officer (Roanoke Rapids Police Department)
An employee in this class performs a full range of general law enforcement duties to protect life and property in the City. Basic Law Enforcement Training is preferred but not required.
