The City of Roanoke Rapids is now accepting applications for the following:

Part-Time Library Assistant.

Employees in this position will perform various duties at the Roanoke Rapids Public Library.

Good interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills are a MUST.

This employee will work the service desk, checking in and out materials, assisting patrons in using public access computers, shelving returned library material and other duties as assigned.

Applicants must be available to work flexible schedule including days, nights and Saturdays. Approximately 10-17 hours total per week. Hours will vary. This position will also provide service assistance at the Roanoke Canal Museum.

Position is Open until filled.
