PUBLIC NOTICE OF EMERGENCY MEETING

Pursuant to N.C.G.S. §143-318.12(b)(3) notice is hereby given that pursuant to G.S.§ 160A-71(b) an emergency meeting of the Roanoke Rapids City Council will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at City Hall, 1040 Roanoke Avenue, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. The sole purpose of this meeting is to consider the adoption of a resolution in opposition to Senate Bill 214, Part V, Section 5, which is now pending before the N. C. General Assembly.
