The Roanoke Rapids Graded School District Board of Trustees honored outgoing board member Linda Brewer tonight for her 11 years of service.
Linda Brewer officially became a Halifax County commissioner this evening as she was sworn in by Judge Turner Stephenson.
Linda Brewer will collect the votes in the November 8 election cast for the late Halifax County Commissioner Rachel Hux and will also fill her unexpired term.
