A Detroit man wanted for allegedly selling stolen items to a pawn shop surrendered to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office Tuesday night.

Chief Deputy Bruce Temple said Renaldo Carlos Gomez turned himself around 11 p.m.

Deputy Chris Boden charged Gomez with obtaining property by false pretense, felony larceny, and felony possession of stolen goods.

He was processed and then released on a $5,000 secured bond with a November 5 court date.
