Halifax shuts out Wayne Christian in softball

The Halifax Academy Lady Vikings were in the winning mood Friday afternoon at home against Wayne Christian.

At the plate for Halifax , Candice Smith had a single, a double and a triple along with two RBI's, Ashlynn Liles had a single and a double along with one RBI, Ashton Garner had a double, Morgan Hudomint had a single and Emerson Poole had a single with one RBI.

 

On the mound for the Vikings, Sydney Smith started on the mound pitching two and 2/3 innings with four strikeouts, Candice Smith pitched four and 1/3 innings with five strikeouts.
