A man and woman who already have pending court dates are scheduled for court appearances in February after their arrests Tuesday on breaking, entering and larceny counts related to the theft of a microwave.

Chief Deputy Scott Hall of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said the relationship between Taj Solomon and Tawanda Tillery was not immediately clear.
In a statement, however, he said the pair were arrested following a report of a breaking and entering in the Loop Road area just outside Enfield.
Investigation conducted by Deputy Lindsay Mann and Lieutenant Chris Boden showed the pair were traveling east on Thirteen Bridges Road, reportedly fleeing the location of the crime, which was reported around 1:45 p.m.
Boden conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Thirteen Bridges Road and identified the driver as Solomon, 42, and the passenger as Tillery, 36, both of Enfield.

Tillery

Tillery was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, injury to real property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Solomon

Solomon was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to state court records, both Solomon and Tillery were awaiting court dates for crimes not related to the Tuesday matter.
Solomon is scheduled to appear in court on January 18 to answer to charges of felony conspiracy to commit B&E, misdemeanor injury to real property, felony first-degree burglary, felony possession of stolen goods and felony larceny after breaking and entering.
Tillery is scheduled to appear in court on February 15 to answer to a charge of misdemeanor resisting a public officer.
For Tuesday’s charges Tillery was jailed on $20,000 secured bond and Solomon on $40,000 secured bond. Both have February 8 court dates.
Hall said in the statement the paraphernalia counts stem from both reportedly having glass pipes in their possession.
The stolen microwave was recovered.
